Learning Center

No need to travel the educational road alone, but you need to take the first step. See why (click quote below):

TCI College provides students with drop-in tutoring services at its main campus and the 56th Street Annex.  The TCI Learning Center also sponsors the Peer Mentoring Program, which helps new students make a successful transition into the college environment. Students in need can also inquire at the Learning Center for limited financial support through its grants programs. In addition a series of videos has been produced to allow students to learn at their convenience. See sample video.

Peer Mentoring Program

Through the TCI Peer Mentoring Program (TPMP), students in their third or fourth semester volunteer to help first-semester students get acquainted with college life.  The group meets every Thursday from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm.

Mentors attend a one-day workshop to strengthen their mentoring skills.  Candidates must have at least a 3.0 GPA, have an outgoing personality, and want to help a fellow student.
