Many small and medium sized companies rely on technicians who are able to perform variety of tasks from maintaining or updating desktop PC’s, telephone systems, electric lines, and network systems. The IETC program with its strong emphasis on hands-on learning where you will practice with real equipment and not simulators, prepares you for careers such as desktop specialist, network technician, and electronics technician. After graduation from the IETC program, you will be able to: • Repair commercial and industrial electronic equipment. • Provide desktop support • Install and maintain electronic equipment • Install electronic home entertainment equipment • Operate and program computer based control systems
