Employer Relations

Below is a list of services offered to employers by TCI's Department of Career Services. All services are free of charge unless noted. For any services listed below, you can contact an Employer Relations representative by:

Resume Referral:
Employers looking to recruit full-time employees can request resumes. Please download the "Job Order Form" and fax the completed form with a job description. Otherwise, complete a "Job Order Form" online and press submit. Resumes are sent via fax or email to employers within eight business days.

On-Site Interviews:
Upon receiving resumes from Career Services, employers may want to consider utilizing TCI facilities (i.e. offices, classrooms, etc.) to conduct interviews and administer exams required for the position(s). Benefits of on-site interviews are: TCI is conveniently located; Career Services can contact candidates and arrange meetings; and rooms are available to accommodate large groups. This service is especially helpful for employers not located in New York City.

Job Postings:
Employers who have positions that require graduates and students to apply directly rather than through Career Services can post jobs on bulletin boards throughout the college. Email the job description with application information. Any flyer submitted will be posted as is and should not exceed 8.5" X 11" when printed. This service is especially helpful for employers with part-time positions or with positions not related to fields offered by TCI.

On-Site Presentation:
Employers can conduct on-site presentations, affording students and graduates the opportunity to obtain information about career development from a company's point of view. Companies can maintain good public relations by announcing its recruitment practices and employee benefits to attract the best candidates. Arrangements typically require at least two weeks advance notice in order to reserve space and publicize the event.
