The NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) provided work placements at TCI for 36 high school and college-age interns through the Ladders for Leaders program. TCI also hosted interns from the Pathfinders program, part of the Software Engineering Pilot by the Department of Education (DOE).
According to Amna Siddiqui, Program Manager of Software Engineering Education at the Office of Postsecondary Readiness, NYC DOE, “TCI College is one of our most enthusiastic and dedicated partners in the Pathfinders program. TCI College supervisors are quick to recognize the incredible potential of our 9th and 10th grade students. It's clear that the TCI team is deeply committed to providing their interns with a meaningful and structured experience of the workplace. We look forward to continuing the Pathfinders program with TCI College this fall!”
